M25 Smart Motorway

The M25 Smart Motorways scheme provided us with over 2 years work, starting with decommissioning in the very beginning, we moved on to the installation of columns, not only on the verges but on the central reservation concrete wall, installing a majority of the power cable and the COMMs power whilst on this project. 

 

Our part in this project gave us some real profile in the sector, and the recognition we needed to progress forward,  to become the company that we are today. Following this project, Highlights Southern have been a key contractor in smart motorway projects all across the country, from the M25 to the M1, M5, and most recently the M4.
