Cambridgeshire PFI

Hilights Southern LTD have been involved in many local and regional council street lighting improvement contracts, but Cambridgeshire PFI has to be one of the biggest so far.

 

Working on behalf of Balfour Beatty Living Places, on everything from installation of lanterns to small road schemes, such as the installation of new columns, ducting and cable. We increased the size of our team to be able to complete the works required on time. Choosing to employ a local workforce from Cambridgeshire, bringing to bear their experience and knowledge of the roads, helped us to progress effectively, really taking this project by the horns.

 

Providing 3 Hiab crews, 3 MEWP crews, 4 electricians and a large civils gang, we were able to complete the works effectively and efficiently and with a keen eye around safety. 

 

Our success on these works led to many other projects from Balfour Beatty Living Places, including the maintenance of the works completed, and other smaller works in and around Cambridgeshire.
